American Income Life

We are always trying to invite a guest speaker to our local meetings to educate our members on our union benefits.  

Recently, American Income Life sent out information to some of our members informing them of the recent increase in their accidental death benefit to $4,000 and what other benefits are available to them at no cost. 

If you ever wondered how this gets awarded, let us explain. 
When a family member contacts our office to report a member's passing we will request an official death certificate to be forwarded to our office.  If the Death Certificate states “Accidental” and it meets the criteria specified by AIL, our office reaches out to our representative, and they forward it to their Claims Department. The beneficiary you have listed on your Benevolent Trust Fund will be awarded the American Income Life Benefit.  If you do not have anyone listed on your Benevolent Trust fund, then it is awarded to your Estate.
