Health & Welfare Members receive more benefits
Posted On: Feb 15, 2013

Our Health & Welfare program has been improving year to year and this is a direct result of all the hard work that has been done by our Health & Welfare Trustees.

In just a short time the Trustees have improved the wellness program, added a vision program and now they have extended the Health & Welfare Benefits for the widows of our members.

President Bob Miller saw it first hand when his father passed away and his mother only had 13 weeks of Health care coverage and was worried how she was going to receive medical care.

Our Health & Welfare Trustees listened and reacted to this matter by extending the coverage for up to 1 year. As a result the widowers have the option to remain with our Health & Welfare Program or have a decent amount of time to locate another Health care provider.

We should all applaud our Health & Welfare Trustees for their continuing dedication to improve our benefits year after year!
